SRC / Services

Tell us what should exist.

Software, publishing, audiovisual production and anything that calls for more than one discipline at once. We understand the goal, agree on scope and tell you honestly if there’s a better way.

Technology

You have something that should exist on screen, but doesn’t.

Websites, platforms, apps and automations built by BlackSignal Labs, with the same obsession we bring to our own work.

Publishing

You wrote something and don’t know what comes next.

Corvus Publishing Bureau edits, proofreads, lays out and publishes your work without requiring an agent, a track record or anyone’s permission.

Media

Your idea needs to be seen and heard.

Blackout at 27:00 produces video, music, animation and streaming, and sometimes turns it all into a live night.

Collaborations

When one discipline isn’t enough.

Some projects need code and narrative, or clothing and a stage. For those, SRC brings together a team across divisions, with one person responsible for each and a project record of its own. That’s how Corvus Aeternum began, between BlackSignal and Corvus Publishing.

SRC / Process

No one starts building without a project file.

The same five steps for every project, regardless of the division. If something goes off plan, there’s a document that says what happens.

  1. File opened

    SRC-CL-001

You write to us and your request receives a reference number. We respond within 24 to 48 hours with the questions we need to understand what you want to build.

  2. Scope agreed

    SRC-BR · SRC-SOW

We define what’s included, what isn’t, how many revisions there are and how we’ll know it’s finished. This is also where we tell you if we think there’s a better route than the one you had in mind.

  3. Contract and payments

    SRC-MSA-001 · SRC-PS

Master agreement and work order signed. 40% upfront, 30% on concept approval, 30% on delivery. Production begins once the first payment is confirmed.

  4. Production in stages

    SRC-RM · SRC-CP · SRC-CR

A roadmap with dates contingent on you providing your materials on time. One communication channel and one list of changes: if several people on your side give feedback, you consolidate it before sending it.

  5. Delivery and archive

    SRC Archive

You receive the deliverables, source files and documentation. The project stays on record: two years from now, we’ll still be able to tell you why each decision was made.

We don’t say yes to everything.

The client has authority over what they need; we have the responsibility to tell them how to achieve it. Sometimes that means proposing another route. And if a decision harms the project, we won’t sell it just because someone is willing to pay for it.
